Salty Summer

The goal this summer season is the same as always, dive more, explore more. Jumping in this past weekend it really felt like the start of summer. The conditions were beautiful, with some excessive breeze here and there and some sea chop at times but all in all it was an epic weekend. Got to dive with lots of dive buddies, some scuba, some free diving, took the speargun for some exercise and got to hang out with seals, lobsters, scallops and the usual suspects. The viz wasn’t great and especially poor at low tide 2-3m/5-9ft. but for the most part the temp was in mid 50°s (F) and surface + current were easily manageable at worst. Got around to check out Outer Brewster, Calf Island and the Burning Barges. Also included are some shots from the last couple weekends that weren’t all that bad but had some colder temps and cloudy days to contend with, despite that some antique bottles were found, one possible dating back to civil war era, mid 1800s.
