Captain Greg is a commercially licensed captain and scuba instructor with over 17 years experience working worldwide in boating and diving. Available for marine maintenance services, search & recovery for phones & lost items, captain for hire, and yacht deliveries. Other common services include swimming pool jobs & maintenance, boat/dock maintenance, search & recovery, clearing fouled running gear, underwater damage control evaluation, checks & maintenance on moorings and safety diving for events. PRIVATE CAPTAIN FOR HIRE

Want to take your boat out for an event or just for fun and don’t want to spend time minding the boat over partying? Or maybe you’ve rented a boat from someone who does not provide a captain? Whatever your need, Capt Greg is available for hire by the day.

BOAT DELIVERIES

Use a licensed, commercial, experienced captain to deliver your yacht or vessel from point A to point B. Ability to handle power or sailing vessels. Will always have at least one crew member onboard deliveries. Owner pays for transportation to and from vessel, fuel, supplies. Owner covers food cost for trips over 1 day. Maintenance and repairs needed will be billed separately. Particulars all discussed prior to agreement.

BASIC MAINTENANCE & MECHANICAL WORK

We can help with basic routine maintenance on your vessel such as fluid changes, fiberglass patching as well as some electrical and plumbing issues. We’re not about to rebuild your transmission but some of the intermediate problems can be tailored to with detail.

POOLS

In addition to the common marine maintenance services, we are familiar with swimming pool maintenance and repairs if draining water is not an option. Drain repairs and patching cracks or other damage being most common.

VESSEL HANDLING LESSONS

Captain Greg can offer 1 on 1 lessons in driving, docking, man overboard drills as well as educating and guiding through routine maintenance and safety requirements that can be overlooked.. Sessions include prescriptive teaching methods where specific needs are observed, met, corrected and refined while developing good habits, confidence and skilled handling.

VIDEO RECORD & CONFIRMATION OFFERED ON ALL JOBS

Video services are offered for all jobs, no more wondering what’s going on below with only your best guess and some imagination. Services can be recorded with a video being sent to you directly via text message or email as confirmation and assistance for future reference when outfitting or understanding the rarely seen side of your vessel.

HAZARD & COLD WATER WINTER JOBS:

All prices are subject to double rates during Winter (between the months of November through April) and for Hazardous Conditions including but not limited to toxins such as cyanobacteria, structural danger such as obstructions including wrecks, old piers, etc., excessively heavy boat traffic, depths over 18m/60ft and distance to job.
