Friday the 13th Strawberry Moon
In the late hours of the 12th following through to the first hours of Friday, June 13th the Strawberry Full Moon could be seen rising. It’s a late sleeper, rising around 22:00/10pm and not peaking above the rural and city skyline until closer to 11. I’m always going for nature and natural as a first choice but unfortunately with the time and location I had to work with, the suitable foreground I wanted was not possible to find. So my backup plan was to get some shots with the modern city scene of Boston and some iconic buildings basking in the sweet strawberry moonlight. Taken from Cambridge, Ma across the Charles River from Boston proper by the riverside gave the lens quite a view.
