Beacon Hill Halloween
The Beacon Hill neighborhood bordering Boston’s North End with the common is a spectacle during Halloween. In a collective effort the who area becomes a Halloweentown with extravagant decorations with movie quality special effects, lighting and props. The streets fill with trick or treaters of all ages on all hallow’s eve in a crowded mass of costumed characters to ooh and aah at the houses and get a little candy. I was shocked at how busy it actually was, being as crowded as almost any given street in Salem during the Haunted Happenings leading up to Halloween.
